its a sad song about how his girlfriend left him and hes left broken hearted and crying. she shattered his heart when she left and now hes left to put the pieces back together again. he felt like hed been cut from the inside and hes shattered from how she just let his heart slip from her hands and break on the ground like it meant nothing.but he loved her so much that he took the pain for as long as he could handle and hes so upset that shes gone that he feels so lonely and broken inside. he feels like his hearts so broken that there will forever be a broken piece missing from his heart that was where she belonged. and everytime he feels like his hearts mended, the memories of her come back and it breaks again and hes left feeling lost within his own heart searching for the reasons why.
